Matt was born in Pittsburgh, grew up in Lawrenceville, and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a dual degree in Business and Economics.

Matt currently functions as the Founder/President of Oxford Solutions, Inc, a multi-disciplined staffing firm he founded in 1998. Matt began his career in the staffing industry as a recruiter himself, and has placed over 1000 technical professionals throughout the Pittsburgh area during his career. He continually employs “cutting edge” techniques to identify the best and brightest local candidates and focuses on recruiting candidates back to the Pittsburgh area to bolster the local employment rate and economy. Today, Oxford Solutions is a thriving multi-million dollar operation, currently implementing strategies to provide the infrastructure for targeted growth over the next few years. Matt’s belief and commitment to continuous improvement along the lines of personal and professional development coupled with significant investments in technology tools and training have had a significant contribution to Oxford Solutions’ rank as a true industry leader in the Pittsburgh-area Staffing Industry.

Matt is a past President of the Pittsburgh Technical Staffing Association (P.T.S.A.), a local chapter of the American Staffing Association (A.S.A.), which serves to promote the staffing industry through legal and legislative advocacy, public relations, education and high standards of ethical conduct. Matt completed the Leadership Development Initiative (L.D.I. XII) in May 2005, and has volunteered at Auberle teaching at risk students practical business and life skills. Matt was recognized as a Fast-Tracker through the Pittsburgh Business Times. In addition to his busy schedule, he enjoys coaching T-Ball and flag football.

Stephen has been focused in the management, training and development of recruiters in his more than (twenty) 20-year career in sales and recruitment. Stephen has been instrumental in the launch and profitable management of four (4) separate start-up ventures during his career, and participated as a founding member of one of Pittsburgh’s elite boutique consulting firms.

Stephen brings tremendous energy and creativity as tenets of his motivational management style which has produced tangible results in all organizations he has worked with during his career in sales and Professional Services. He has successfully developed and delivered effective, experiential training programs and the formulation of efficient methodologies. His primary belief is that the best trained and equipped recruiters produce the best results, and he is committed to the development and retention of what will be the most revered and respected recruitment organization in the industry. Stephen’s career experiences include Mastech Corporation, eJiva Inc., Amber Group Canada and Plan4Demand Solutions, Inc. Stephen has worked in multiple countries around the world with global recruitment responsibility and has managed operations in Australia, India and the US simultaneously.

Stephen attended Davis & Elkins College on full scholarship and California University of Pennsylvania. Although Stephen’s career is among his primary priorities, Stephen is an accomplished songwriter and singer, enjoys studio recording and playing live music and spending quality time with his two sons.

Dave is a well-known and highly respected sales professional in the local staffing market, and a key contributor to the successful continued growth of Oxford Solutions. Dave is directly responsible for the start-up and operation of the Engineering/Technical Services Division. He brings a time-tested wealth of knowledge, experience, and skill from his ten (10) years in the staffing industry. Years of client development and personalized service have taught Dave that the real differentiator between staffing providers is the ability to understand the true need of the customer in the immediate, short and long term. It’s not just about “making a placement” for Dave, it’s about “making a difference.” Dave holds a BA degree in Communications from Duquesne University. When not focused on work, Dave enjoys spending time with his family and raising his two beautiful daughters.

Carl helps to solidify the sturdy foundation of Oxford Solutions by adding over twelve (12) years experience in the staffing/recruiting industry, primarily within the Engineering Industry. During his career, Carl has placed well over 500 individuals throughout Western Pennsylvania. Carl holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Marshall University. Prior to joining the Oxford team in 2003, Carl was directly involved in two (2) successful start-ups. Carl sets himself apart by taking a consultative approach to not only meeting but exceeding the needs of his large client base. Through his own research combined with on-site visits and plant tours, Carl takes it upon himself to see firsthand what his clients require and what makes them unique. As Oxford continues to grow, Carl will be instrumental in the guidance and future development of the Engineering/Technical Division of Oxford Solutions. Carl enjoys spending time with his two daughters, professional sporting events and live music.

Rob brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skill from his thirteen (13) years of demonstrated success in customer service and recruiting. Rob spent his first five years with Oxford under the direct mentorship of Matt Fenton, mastering the art of recruitment before embarking on a key position in sales. He takes a very organized, methodical and disciplined approach to not only responding to the rapid needs of the market, but by “creating” opportunities that are invisible to the competition. Very driven and never satisfied, Rob is directly responsible for the start-up and operation of the Information Technology Services Division, Oxford’s fastest-growing division. Rob is fiercely competitive, but also dedicated to the continued growth and expansion of Oxford’s service offerings and expanded sales territories, and will continue to play a key role in the further development of the organization. Rob is also the Chairperson for Oxford’s Social Committee, where he creatively encourages the development of strong working relationships mixed with fun team-oriented events. Rob is a dedicated father and husband and loves to spend his off-time traveling with his family and enjoying time with close friends.

Jeff has worked his way through the Oxford Solutions recruitment ranks with more than 7 (seven) years of expertise in the temporary and permanent staffing industry. Jeff has been an integral part Oxford’s rapid and consistent growth due to his unwavering hard work and dedication to personal and professional growth. Jeff has established himself as a “go to” recruiter. He is well-versed in both the Engineering and IT arenas, and serves as an internal leader and mentor to developing recruiters. A true competitor, he likes to challenge himself and his team by penetrating new accounts and setting a high professional standard to continue to set Oxford Solutions aside from the competition. Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing at the Pennsylvania State University’s Main Campus in State College, PA. Outside of his professional life he enjoys many outdoor adventure activities, including skiing and mountain biking and always makes time for travel.
