Resumes that are too sparse are likely to be passed over in favor of those that provide a more complete overview of skills and accomplishments.

Technology is ever-evolving, and many jobs require specific tools, software, or programming languages. Make sure to list the technologies relevant to your field or the position you’re applying for. Whether it’s a software development tool, design platform, or project management software, showing you’re familiar with the right technology increases your attractiveness as a candidate.
